i think it would easily...
In japan yes(talking consistently, as of now they compete for first a lot weekly), everywhere else hell no.
nope.... touch screen is more appealing.... plus waaaay more titles that appeal to everyone from kids to adults
How easily? The DS is at 100 million, and the PSP hasn't even broke 50 million. With a 50+ million gap, the developers would still stick to the DS, causing more games which equal more sales. It would sure help the sales of the PSP, but not enough
Oh wait, were you talking lifetime, or weekly? If the first then no chance at all.
I suppose he's talking about weekly sales. Sony just recently said they won't be dropping the price anyway, so this is pure speculation.
I don't think price as anything to do will it... look at the people who own/buy DS's. Middle class folk, older people, children and women.
For the women (don't mean women that play games, I mean more like the housewife/middle age women that don't games in the first place) and older folk. Its games like Brian training, mahjong and them other puzzle type games and combined with the touch screen. That is why group buy DS's, otherwise they wouldn't buy a handheld/console.
The PSP is aimed more at teenagers, 20/30+ male group.
