Forums - Gaming - What are the worst cliches in JRPGs?

A lot of gamers complain that JRPGs, in general, have stagnated and can´t stand a lot of cliches.

If you´re in that group of gamers, what are some of the worst cliches you want gone?..is it the way the hero and his female companion usually look and behave?...the type of story?...the grinding?

I'm sick and tired of the predictable male lead falling in love with the main female character. Maybe that's why I loved Suikoden so much. It didn't happen.

Hackers are poor nerds who don't wash.

I hate it when the final boss ends up some bullshit thing like Yu Yevon or Necron instead of the villain who's been built up through the whole damn story.

Jordahn, and usually the main female character falls in love with the male lead first, then he falls for her, right?

emmo main characters that have bodies built like females with amnesia.

That can be the staple of many PC games where the main guy wakes up from a coma or amnesia.
