I hope the next Zelda Wii be like TP. Now, THAT would be awesome. I can't await to see a fully orchestrated soundtrack in the same league of Super Mario Galaxy, that would be epic win.
i would have rathered a console zelda, because i tend to like them more... but i did not expect any zelda at all to be announced at GDC, so i was really excited to see spirit tracks.
Bet With routsounmanman: By the end of Q1 2008 Capcom WONT have announced a RE5 Wii Edition OR a new RE (classic gameplay) for the Wii (WON)
No, I'm not disappointed. Very excited, actually. I loved Phantom Hourglass and had a lot of fun playing it. I wouldn't doubt if this was just as good as Phantom Hourglass.
And I think that eventually we will hear something about a Zelda game for the Wii. This was only the GDC and I wasn't expecting anything much, but I was happy with the announcement of this game and the other things that were announced.
I didnt expect a new Zelda Wii game announcement yet, but that train thing really made me puke.
I hate anachronisms like that in fantasy games (it's one of the reasons why I dislike Warcraft too, cuz of the gunpowder tech).

No, famousringo's poopy pate analogy is most apt. You've said yourself you don't like it only because of it's visual style.
@Slimebeast: ....What? You don't like it because of the tech level?
You do realize the N64 Zeldas had jukeboxes, right? And do you know how old gunpowder is?
Gunpowder is ancient slimeball, by the way things looked in warcraft, they could have had guns in those times.
And for pete's sake, they have cameras in zelda games, but somehow i never heard you complain about that!
If i lose access to this profile as well....I'm done with this site.....You've been warned!!.....whoever you are...
Happy Wii60 user. Me and my family are a perfect example of where hardcore meets casual and together mutate into something awesome.
Actually the train thing IS a bit silly. Not because it is too modern, but for the fact that a railway network has to be built by some... company or administration or whatever. Plus, a train is not exactly the perfect vehicle for exploration, right? You hardly go somewhere noone has gone before by train. A boat makes much more sense.
But we'll see how Nintendo will explain all that.
Currently playing: NSMB (Wii)

It makes sense if you're a mailman, like Link appears to be...!
Me? I'm operating off the assumption that Link is killing giant hideous monsters to the mail can go through.
I don't care if it's wrong. I delight in this fantasy.
