Don't regimine change wars normally perserve or enhance freedoms?
I mean look at Iraq. Probably a war not conducted for the Iraqis... though why it was done i'm not even sure.
Regardless, people in Iraq are free and better off.

Drafts work quite the opposite because you get put in "Draft Groups"
Younger healthier people are more likely to get drafted first, and people who are more likely to be healthier are middle class and richer people.
So really an actual draft targets Whites and Asians dispropotrioally.
People forget about Asians. They actually have all the benefits of not being a minority when it comes to discrimination wise (or most anyway) and none of the hate.

I'm not saying that the draft as it has been in the past targets white people, I am just saying that white people tend to make up a dispropotionate share of the power brokers in this society. Other than that there was no insinuation that the draft targets minorities.
I am not sure about the racial makeup of the army to be frank, so I wasn't intending to say that it is disproportionately one thing or the other.
Not to mention, as sqrl brought up, you guys shouldn't take everything I say seriously.

having had the opportunity to listen to a lot of commanders, a few generals, and a large group of military personnel I'm yet to run across one person that takes war lightly, and most have 1-2 children who currently serve in the military (and not just in a office)
knowing have the crap they have to put up with just to move around safely, and how dangerous their daily lives are even in a camp, I fully support our troops through my daily work and I'm proud of it
