Rinoa's Angel Wing can beat Squal's Lionheart but you must set her up to only cast the meteor/comet spell (I forget which it is).  Max her speed/magic attack using magic that Angel Heart won't cast and sit back for some fireworks.

no, angel wing meteor hits for a random times up to 8 times and is way harder to make rinoa do 9999, specially when the only junction magic is meteor(otherwise is not guaranteed to cast it every turn)

 

As noted on the previous page, I saw a video of it on youtube and she was able to cast Meteor so quickly that I'd say it's easier to let her go on her own if she has the stats for it.

Also, I suppose you would need to junction her with magic she wouldn't cast in Angel Wing form. Does she cast status magic? Double and Triple?

Hm.

 

i don't believe she casts status magic, so you can junction triple on speed and maybe double on magic, since angel wing doubles your magic attacks all you need is for meteor to do 5000 in every hit, so after entering angel wing form you'll be doing 9999, junctioning ultima is a waste since it easily dose 9999, but only hit once and is very slow

Thanks to IllegalPaladin for the video.

That Rinoa's speed is very low though. I remember having both Magic and Speed at 255 and a few other things going for her (auto-haste maybe). It's been ages since I did FF8 like that but it was fun.
