Huh? It's the same story on either platform.
If I recall, it can either end with
A- Shepard saving the council (and delaying the alliance's attack on Sovereign) and humanity being granted a seat on the council or
B- The council being destroyed because Shepard opts to give the alliance an immediate path to attack Sovereign where humanity assumes the role of the council and Shepard can either appoint Ambassador Udina or Captain Anderson to fill the position.
| IllegalPaladin said: So then which ending is canon? I personally let the council die. They criticized me saying that I favored humans more than the duties of keeping the peace so when the time came to save them or let the galaxy be destroyed, I opted to save the galaxy. Even sweeter was the irony that saving the galaxy was also helping the human fleet to launch an attack on Sovereign..... mmmm revenge.... |
I did the same ^_^. And I enjoyed watching it gehehe.
haha u 2 are both so vindictive =P although I let the council die too but I wanted to be a Renegade =P
Nice find Garnett though I'm not surprised Sheperd isn't dead I remember reading an article where the author of Mass Effect said "Sheperd's story is your story and will never be affected by the books"

My first playthrough I went with A, but I've been wondering since I played it which was the canon ending. Hopefully they find a way to make it work with both endings so we could have alternate beginnings to ME2. That would be truly epic.

this is actually pretty old information. The developers did an interview with ign or gamespot a couple weeks ago, can't remeber which...
but anyway, they talked about how the game starts with the alliance having just wiped out the geth from the galaxy. So the geth aren't going to be around... doesn't mean there won't be any other robo badies about though.
My bet is it has something to do with the collector's. Then the collector's will be connected to the reapers. I would also assume the batarians will play a larger role in this game, as they are the race with the biggest gripe against humanity.
