Hmm, I'm not entirely convinced that the wii wouldn't stay on top just from 3rd party games + those already announced.

Nintendogs Wii is unlikely to happen, Ninty has stated so themselves.

Wii Play sequel seems unnecessary, the first will sell long into the start of next gen

mario Zelda Pikmin kirby have all been confirmed by Nintendo :) Although Kirby is taking its sweet time

Starfox Donkey Kong F zero would all be awesome games, but Nintendo doesn't need to make them to stay on top

how about a hard drive.....this is ridiculous....i burnt up my hard drive over a year ago and i'm tired of transferring between SD and the drive.....it's a hassle. I don't even download games anymore unless it's an absolutely must have

Nintendo doesn't need to make anything to say on top. All that they have to do is put out a bunch of commercials for Wii Fit and they'll be fine.

actually if nintendo stopped making games right now....it would take sony and MS like 2 years to catch them. So, to answer the question. Nintendo doesn't have to do anything but sit on the throne

I think they don't have to make to many more huge games, they could just let 3rd parties carry the load... But I would like to see those games.

They can't release too many 1st party games right now because the 3rd party devs would just bitch about not being able to sale their games because Nintendo 1st party games are too good, but then you hear consumers bitch about it, it's a double loose pretty much, Nintendo 1st party is the biggest rival to all the other devs on their own platform haha.
