I still think Wii sports is a POS.
Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

Taking classic sports & making them more accessible. Miis included. Represents the whole Wii philosophy from top to bottom. And I still play it 2 years & 3 months later. John Lucas |
Agree 100%. Just the other day I played best outa three tennis match with my cousin. Still as fun and competetive as the day we first competed.
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

Agreed. I use it as a coaster. I hate it was forced on to me with the Wii.
And it's not just the 5 games, those training activities are amazing. And there are so many that you're always rediscovering old games or even discovering new ones. I didn't really give golf target practice a chance until a few weeks ago. Now I'm playing it alot and loving it, YEARS after I got the system!
I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!
Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Power throws bowling is the single best mode on that disc. 100-pin strike FTW.
And I got so much exercise in working the bag boxing that I earned a platinum medal.

Nice, but I'm a sucker for tennis target practice myself. Oh and bowling obstacle course!

Well if that is you holding that drink in your chest... Well... I understand why you wouldn't like the idea of activity while playing a game

You're funny. No, it's the fact the game is practically broken. And most of the games are extremely boring.
Its meant to appeal to different people, hence there being a choice of sports.
Its not broken, its so revolutionary and ahead of its time not even the technology could keep up with the very concept.
Not the greatest, certainly one the best though.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
