      PS1 had much better 3d graphics than the Saturn which was a super 2d system yet failed hard.  I would take Quistis in FFVIII over any 3d graphics I saw on N64 or Dreamcast.

It really depends on your definition of best is.  The Oddyssey was very innovative and probably had an influence on every console after it.  I say that having never owned or played one.  Little bit before my time.

Game were more original in earlier generations, but they are more refined now.  Kinda confusing when you ask which one is best isn't it?

 

Side note: what is it with these "PS1 wins!" or "SNES is better" posts.  Don't you guys have any opinion to back up your claim or are you just brainwashed to think one is better than the other

Yeah, but I didn't see any pre-rendered cinemas that good on the N64.  And the look of the actual game didn't take that much away from it.

i'm 28 and i really love ps1 but snes is the winner for me,just look at the original classics that the snes given to us,it's untouchable
