exactly.  I will take good 2D graphics over bad 3D graphics anyday.

 

 

      PS1 had much better 3d graphics than the Saturn which was a super 2d system yet failed hard.  I would take Quistis in FFVIII over any 3d graphics I saw on N64 or Dreamcast.

You do realize that was pre-rendered CGI, don't you?

 

Yeah, but I didn't see any pre-rendered cinemas that good on the N64.  And the look of the actual game didn't take that much away from it.
