Super Famicom/Nintendo for me, Games like Super mario world, Super mario kart, Donkey kong country, Yoshis island, F-zero, Starfox, Megaman, PGA tour golf, Ghosts and goblins, Mortal kombat 1-3, Street fighter II (SF in your home for the first time was mindblowing back then) killer instinct and many many more.

^^Absolutely...I feel alot of these "kids" talk of things they've never experienced. I liken it to basketball players; Everyone that grew up watching Michael Jordan, knows that while Kobe is great..MJ is greater..But if you;ve never seen Jordan play, you'll not only think Kobe is better than MJ but Lebron, Dwayne wade and any other current star is Jordan status...Hope you like basketball to understand my analogy. lol. If you wanted to play the good games you had to split between Genesis and SNES a lot of the time (with the SNES often having pussified versions of the genesis games, see Mortal Kombat 2). If I recall, the original Mortal Kombat on the SNES was the "pussified version". The Genesis Mortal Kombat sold more than the SNES one. But when Nintendo didn't censor the blood in Mortal Kombat 2, it sold more on SNES.
