New 80gb PS3 bundled with 2 games will be launched at the end of March.it will cost 399$ (already confirmed).- New 40gb ps3 sku will be launched this May. The cost will be 299$. I doubt it, but it would be great
- PSP slide will be shown for the first time in this year's E3. The launch is next year. I think it could be out by christmas
- The currently available PSP model will get a price cut too. The cost will be 119$. Sounds reasonable, sales are struggling
- Fumito Ueda will be there at GDC '09. He will announce 2 projects. One of them is Shadow of the Colossus Online. Nope, they don't have the manpower to work on both, even if ND are helping them work on their engine (most SCE made games that I have played credit ND with that)
- Syphon Filter is underway to PS3. Apparently the developers are using the same engine behind Killzone2. I'm not sure, Sony Bend (SF studio) have been working on Retribution, but they could still be working on this, they had already made the engine for retribution, using the KZ engine is a great idea
- Insomniac is developing a new action platformer RPG. It looks like a Zelda clone. No, Ratchet is going to be announced within the next week, but once they finish the Resistance franchise, we could well see this, I don't think their second studio is big enough to be working on this, though they have had a year, and Insomniac do manage to make 1 every year
- Jak 4 is on the way too. I think that it is coming, but slowly, given that their new games costs $20m to make, when the original with a brand new engine cost the same, so I think they have expanded a bit to work some more on this, but I doubt it is coming this year, most likely Jak 4 in 2010, Uncharted in 2011
- Daxter 2 will be on ready at the time of PSP slide launch. Good change, Ready at Dawn have hinted that they are returning to PSP and ND would be very happy to allow them to make another Daxter game
- Legend of Dragoon is under development and is to be launched in japan this year. I dunno who would be making it, but this is a persistent rumour
