I don't think the only point is that "Wii is for little kids and old people". The point is that quality games- third party games particulary- Wii owners are not buying them. So long as Wii fanboys ignore this fact plug up their ears and go "FALALALA! I can't hear you!" Is not helping the case for better games on Wii.

It's the weekend.

Seriously though, Wii seems to get some love during the week (which has to do with the overwhelmingly positive sales coming in) while PS3's less than stellar sales make for a less than positive enviornment (Never ending PS3 Pricecut threads, for example), while 360 seems to be in that neutral zone.

But when the weekend comes in, all hell breaks loose. XD So far this weekend we have... souless Wii games, MadWorld not selling confirmed, and now this little debacle. I just blame Wii Fit (and play my games ).

You know, I've yet to see some example of quality games that are on the Wii that supposedly didn't sell well that aren't niche in some way. How many big third party games on the Wii actually flopped?

 

 

The example used in the podcast was Red Steel, which a) sold a million copies and b) sucked (although I liked it personally, I can understand that the controls were not exactly what people were looking for).

well sorry that these awesome game (madworld and others) just don't appeal to some people.

 

I see the quality of madworld and hope it sells good over some shitty gingerbread man or others that are a discrase to gaming not due to nature of game but the bugginess and all that is wrong with it.  Who am I to judge if a genre should exist or not.

 

But I'm NOT gonna go out and buy Madworld just so it gets one more $50 sale.  I am turned off on that game because it just doesn't suit my tastes.  It looks like a runningman (movie, arnold swartzenader) type game with a shit ton of blood and pointless killing.  Thats all you do from what i can tell.  Sorry but that just don't interest me, so I'm not going FALALALALA or anything.  Go back to your fucking 50th shooter game and quit stereotyping us wii owners.  and yes i just stereotyped you.

Nintendo hardcore fanboys play games with crappy graphics and basic gameplay, He sounds like a total jerk and should be slapped across the face hard. Graphics don't matter that much and also if wii has basic gameplay with motion controld then ps3 and 360 controls are even more basic than basic. Would you says little kids and old people would enjoy madworld, house of the dead: overkill and the list goes a long way. How dare he diss a amazing console.
