When did SEGA say that these sales are far better than they had hoped? Link?

No it hasn't. Radiant Dawn is only 30k ahead of Valkyria before adjustments. Realistically, that's 50/60k with these new numbers. |
I assume you're joking? Radiant Dawn doesn't have Others numbers, and its Japan sales haven't been tracked for over a year.
Realistically, Radiant Dawn is about 170k ahead of Valkyria.

Well, TWRoO compiled some data from the Nintendo Channel, and estimated a 90-130K sales for Radiant Dawn in Others, so you probably have a point there.
As for Japan, it simply died off. There might be 5000 untracked copies, but that's the very max I see it at. And the mistracking with VC and RD might be bigger than that.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

It hasn't been tracked in Japan because it isn't selling anymore. It fell off the map, as no more copies are being shipped.

I understand it doesn't sell much weekly, but in over 60 weeks, it for sure moved over 10k additional units. And great job for ignoring the point of my post, which is that Fire Emblem isn't being tracked correctly worldwide, and therefore undertracked by about 110k-120k.

Really, I think Valkyria is a little too high in Europe and that anything over 70k is too high for Fire Emblem. (or any non-FF SRPG)
It just goes to show that whether it's on PS3 or 360 Japanes RPG/SRPG's are having a tough time in the west.
I personally think it's because WRPG's this gen are already leagues ahead of last gen.
In RPG terms this gen is the WRPG generation.
Bring on Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect is the best RPG this generation has seen. FF13 has to be better than 7 to beat it for me.
