Thats the last place 360 needs a price cut.  With double the install base why would they cut???

No. The dollar already did the price cutting for MS. If MS charges less, they may as well give them away, sell their stock, and move to Brazil before the rest of the stockholders catch them.

No MS will wait for Sony to cut PS3 pice first. MS did their last price cuts on X360 around 8 months ago in NA - September 08? Revisions of consoles is a good thing - cheaper production costs which can be passed onto consumers in price cuts if the company wishes.

It has been over 18 months years since Sony last cut the price on PS3 in NA. I would wait for Sony to drop the price of PS3 - hopefully by $100 and wait and see the margin drop back and Sony losing money on PS3 price cut. Just play cat and mouse and toy with Sony is what MS will do. Business is business.

I don't expect a 360 pricecut until later in the year. There's no need to cut prices, especially with MS having the best February in history, with March being even better. Even if Sony drops the price, MS won't see the 8M lead evaporate over anytime soon.

I expect a cut in Sept., October and only if it's losing a grip of marketshare.

MS went nearly 2 years without a pricecut - and isn't trying to race to a $99 Xbox 360, like some folks on these forums think. The most you'll see is - a $179 Arcade, $279 60gb. And you will see a larger hard drive - 250gb drive for the price of the 120gb. I think it will be 3 drives - 60gb, 120gb (until sold out) and the 250gb Scorpio hard drive.

only if PS3 cuts their price. Why would they cut if they are finally making a profit and they are leading PS3 in WW sales? also the wii will be boosting its price which might just help the 360 a little more. I dont think there will be a price cut however the included accessories might change

MS cuts their price with every die shrink, we're getting the biggest die shrink this year so they'll definitely be able to.

But only if Sony moves on its price, if they don't then theres no point in MS dropping price either as they're already beating them soundly.
