@JPL78...  Lost Planet 2 completely stinks in single player.  You mindlessly roam through missions and it seems like a bad movie.  A lot of the problem is that it just keeps continuing without applying the concept of checkpoints...  Just go in guns blazing and if you die "oh well".  The game respawns you and the enemy is depleted based on your past life.  You have to be a complete loser to end up respawning a checkpoint.

Also, the AI is crap.  Both on and off your side.

@Neo, that's a shame because the first one was pretty good. I don't know why they dropped the ball on this one.  Seems like all the "fail" in the game comes from the fact that the entire game was designed with co-op in mind.

Quite a list and quite a year.  Reach and Vegas, are day one for me.  Brotherhood, Fable 3 and Two Worlds 2 eventually. 

AC2 may be Ubi's best ever.  Love all the added rpg elements.  Combat seems to devolve into the usual circle of jerks though.  Too many roofguards and timed runs and not enough stealth imo.  Desync. seemed to keep me from innovating.  I hate looking stuff up but some of the puzzles were just torture.

Yeah, completely focused on multi-player.  It would have got better reviews if they would've completely scrapped single player.

Just got my 360 S...  One word describes it...  Quiet...  Extremely quiet.

UPDATE:  I have had it on for about an hour transferring data...  The vent on the side gets very hot.  If you get one, I strongly advise giving it a lot of space...  You can heat a small room with it...

You got one of the new 360s... Nice!  The bigest selling point, and way to get my wife to buy off on getting one for me is how quite it runs.  Thanks, for the info on the decabell level.

That rocks Neo, must be nice to be able to just buy whatever you want.  I felt bad about spending 20 dollars on Microsoft points yesterday :(

AC was on that list?  Wow, I really need to look at the list better.  I love the idea of an AC with more RPG elements.

Red Dead Redemption's free co-op pack is pretty cool.  Wierd design choices like forcing the player to choose specific loadouts and having "checkpoints" left and right but if you die you start from the beginning, that makes perfect sense.  Otherwise, the price is right!

JPL:  Sorry, I was talking last year's AC2 being more rpgish.  Maxed that bastard tonight. 100 feathers was nothing compared to the original.  350 total flags was it?  Ridiculous.   Haven't read much on Brotherhood at all.  I'll be doing a virtual  Vegas Vacation around then but AC2 put the franchise back on my radar.  They are a month apart.  I'll be using this old box till it melts down or blows up.
