To become #1 in Japan by the end of 2009 ps3 will have to outsell wii by 117,000 a week. To do it by the end of 2010 52,000. By the end of 2011 34,000. By the end of 2012 24,000.

ps3 has outsold wii this week by 10,000. Sony will only need another 9 and a half years.

Or square Enix could release one of their big franchises every month exclusively for ps3 to make it happen.

I think your just looking at what PS3 games it has going for it, and forgetting what big guns the wii will have. Wii sports resort, Monster hunter 3, and Dragon Quest should all be huge. Not to mention the usual nintendo games that will be coming like zelda, and mario galaxy 2.

At least I know who i am voting for site whore at the next vgahrtz awards.
