I don´t know, but I wouldn´t be shocked if they had actually made both versions at the same time, and the PS3 version just has been on hold till they can release it. Heck, even Motio Sakuraba though back then he was composing a PS3 game. Nah, he was composing a PS3 game, and Namco asked him to remove the PS3 reference from his site.

But hey, we will see in a couple of months who was right

@Noobie: Nope, there was an Atelier recently released for the DS, but this new one is for the PS3.

1) PS3 has a price cut.
2) Wii doesn't have a price cut.
3) Final Fantasy XIII comes out.

Apart from Monster Hunter and possibly Tales of, none of those games are system sellers. Also you could easily make a list of PS3 games to counter it:

Gundam game (just got announced, can't remember proper name).
Atelier Rorana
Summon Night 5
Blazblue
King of Fighters XII
PES 2010
Quantum Theory

Killzone 2 (it will sell more than some of the games you listed)

Tekken 6

Add FFXIII and possibly Gran Turismo 5 and you have a good line up for PS3 this year in Japan. No doubt there will be a few more PS3/360 game announcement and possibly some exclusive announcements...
