I'm not convinced that this game will outsell the PS3 on the 360. I know the FF name is big, but it has diminished steadlily since FF7, right?Not to mention JRPGS have only sold mildly on the 360.

Do doubt about it, remains behind GT5 my most anticipated game this generation (yes it was always like that, would rather an emo price then a shemale protagonist) due to being a much darker game starring the Backstreet Boys.
I shudder to think of when DQ X will release on the Wii, that is going to be a serious wait. If Versus does remain exclusive it will still do 2 million first week with immense ease, Japan it self will do a million first week. :O
He's most likely talking about the US only. The 360 version will probably sell more in NA, but not worldwide due to Japan.

Wouldnt be surprised if in NA and Europe the 360 version outsells the PS3 version. I also expect another 360 Elite Special edition for FF. Since the Elite will probably be over 200GB by then they could have FF pre-installed on the HDD.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
final fantasy XII sol arou 2.5m in japan with 15 milllions of ps2 there. With 4m (more or less) if can sell 1.5 it will be a good.
If can sell 1 million for ms en america, it could make the thing very close.

You're ignorant in a general way of speaking....but about this topic, you're VERY ignorant. FFXIII is releasing this December 2009 in Japan for PS3 and it has already been confirmed as a Q1 2010 release in NA.
sadly :/ it will come here in march or april 2010.
