@ twesterm: Well, the reason most people would accuse you of anti-PS3 is that you go on repeated anti-PS3 rants (multiple times with home for example, talking about something in a game that's considered nitpicking by some) and that this thread will come across as "well, you still say rather negative things about the things you -like-". Add to that that the things you say about other consoles are spread across all consoles and games, while the PS3 seems to get your focus (based on the amount of threads about the PS3 and the amount of threads about wii / xbox / ...)


It's your own right and opinion to talk about anything you like / don't like, but people form judgments based on what they see and I doubt you can say you don't "badmouth" the PS3 more.

Yes!  But what's crazy is that I found such 80s movies to be rather cheesy, but I love Uncharted.

If you like Uncharted, everyone must like Uncharted! It is just such a good game, and the story is so well told that I am still watching the cut-scenes on my 3rd playthrough

I don't blame him for all the PS3 hate.

I've spent $700+ on the PS3 itself and games. I don't feel like I've got my money's worth yet. The PSN is pretty lousy and Home was completely dissapointing. I've only had it for about 5 months and I'm gettin a bit bored already. I think it's just my wallet though - gaming just feels way too expensive nowadays. I can't keep shelling out cash on games with little replay value.

Oh and what's with the upscaling DVD thing? I've only seen blu-rays on my PS3 so far. I thought DVD's had the same quality as 360's...

MGS 4 should get a mention as it is the best game exclusive to PS3 - MGS 4 is so much better than Kill Zone 2. MGS 4 has the best story, gameplay/controls, cut scenes in a game on PS3.

I borrowed a friends  PS3 and played both Kill zone 2 and MGS 4 for a week. I only needed to play the two games on PS3 and see what I think and MGS 4 owned Killzone 2 in all categories except for graphics Kill Zone 2 had the edge. I do not play games online due to having slowest online broadband connection. I can not comment in regards to the games online.

You have 8 games, and you have CoD WaW not 4, you don't have Uncharted, what do you expect, you are missing like half of the top PS3 games

Uncharted is about 10 hours long without any form of multiplayer. It does look like a good game, but like I said I really should probably avoid buying these types of games or this gen will just be a repeat of what happened with my Gamecube - had lots of good games on it, but got bored over time and eventually sold it all.  As much as I enjoy good single-player games, their replay value usually isn't enough to justify the cost for me personally. What I should've done ages ago is start renting games.

As for CoD4, I played it when a friend brought it over. It was abit fun, but it's too similar to CoD5 so it wouldn't be much of a change.
