Forums - Nintendo - Survey Says? (Netflix on Wii)

it says somewhere near the top that it is an exclusive deal.

And again, I'm not sayin that they are hoping that MS catches wind of the survey. They probably already talked to MS and are looking at alternatives.
My point is that this scenario could either result in MS paying more money or a cancellation of exclusivity. And they are exclusive.

That doesn't really show anything at all. Bluray is exclusive to the PS3, do you think Sony is paying for that? Or is it that none of the other consoles feel like implementing an add-on for it? There is a difference bwteen no one else being willing to pony up the cash, and having an exclusive contract.

Starcraft 2 ID: Gnizmo 229

From everything I've read about he subject since e3, it all pointed to exclusive contract. I guess until we figure out what their deal is there really is no way to say anything right?
OR I can just assume that MS has exclusivity contract because otherwise Netflix would be losing potential income. Netflix would want to be as accessible as possible and isn't, so I'm just going to assume that it is contractually exclusive. From that I will say that MS contract is going to end shortly because they won't want to pay any more than the already did.

I always thought the 360 was just timed exclusive and NetFlix planned PS3 and possibly Wii from the start.

Exclusive deal could mean anything.  Maybe it's exclusive deal in that the 360 doesn't cost any more than XBOX live subscription, and for wii it's a $10 one time cost.

Both have netflix and this is awesome for people!
