Lol the dude who wrote this is stupid. He said people grind in home. This article is now instantly biased and useless. Seeing as how he doesn't even know what home is.
Couldn't the average user time be skewed by people that are in Home and just leave their consoles in that state overnight into the next day? I do that with my PS3 all the time watching DVDs, and I'm sure there's a fair number of Home addicts that basically leave their console in a constant state of Home without necessarily playing it all the time. Or does the PS3 have a point it times out and stops counting because of inactivity?
Also Sony was genius for labelling Home as a beta. It allows them to underperform, underdeliver and generally dissappoint people and chalking it up to "being in beta". I've noticed some people here have bought in.

Could i say this about the 360 is maxed out threads,or this game is only possible on the PS3?
On Topic, yes Home is indeed making Sony a profit, but it will take years for them to remake the dev money used on it,also even if it did make them money it still is boring to me.

Sony: we need more time for some ideas

| Zomb1337 said: I used it and it could be a lot better......quicker loading times, new additions to HOME should be auto-installed, there should be 32-40 bowling lanes instead of 5 so you dont have to wait 15 mins just to bowl sometimes, more pool tables, have ACTUAL movies playing in the theater that you can watch, and you can either go full screen w/ the movie or run around and talk to people instead while the movie is playing........HOME's bowling alley has choppy/glitchy animations I have noticed as well. Other than those flaws, it's a good social tool. 6/10 |
If you have a way to communicate with others that is natural, then it is a good social tool. Trying to chat using ONLY the PS3 controller makes it a BAD social tool. I ended up communicating "I have no keyboard" more than anything else on there. Good that Sony included it as one of the default chat messages.
Oh, hating on home is back in fashion? We seem to go in a cycle here,
Sony are gonna go bust
Cut X from the ps3 to make it cheaper
Sony failed by removing ps2BC
Home sucks
I look forward to the Sony are gonna go bust threads next week.
still bashing home, i think it is good, plus it's free, i agree with the guy who said,
stop bashing
