There are close to 50 million of you don't you want more good games on your system are are you really satisfied with bland products like Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Music, and Wii Fit? |
Wait, wait, wait.
How is anything you just named "bland"? Go ahead. Break it down for me.

Because that don't allow you to do anything you can't do on your free time from going and playing bowling to learning to play a real musical instrument. Modern gaming is supposed to be about freeing yourself from the humdrumness of the real world and letting you enjoy participating in virtual worlds that offer you the chance to have experiences that you never could have or even could have imagined having in the real world. They are about going on adventures in Hyrule instead of playing table tennis or going shopping at the local Costco.

You're not seriously using this argument are you? Maybe that's why you play games but every gamer has different reason for playing video games and there's not one better than the other.
Also, the "you can go bowling" or "you can learn to play real instruments" argument is just plain stupid.
Let's just take Wii Sports:
Tennis: Requires running shoes, racket, access to a tennis court (indoor or outdoor)
Golf : Requires golf shoes, golf clubs, golf balls, tees, access to a golf course and you can't play during winter.
Bowling : Requires bowling shoes, bowling ball.
Boxing: Boxing gloves, access to a boxing ring (plus real boxing hurts!)
Baseball : Baseball glove, baseball bat, baseball, access to a baseball field (can't play during winter)
Even if you rent the equipment, it's going to cost you a fortune. You also have to factor the convenience of being able to do this at home.
