Hey!  Black that stuff out, man!  There are people who haven't beaten the game less than a week after it tcame out!

To each, his own. I love it. There are some elements of Resident Evil 4 that I miss (getting separated from your partner, running around unarmed, etc.), but those things probably wouldn't fit well with the game's new co-op nature. Sorry you didn't enjoy it, buddy. That's what rentals are for, I guess.

Sarcasm on the internet smells worse than shit. Don't mince your words old boot, say how you really feel :) We love you for it. It doesn't help that sarcasm on the internet is perperpetuated by stupid people who don't understand the true meaning of the word "irony" and get it mixed up with the word "coincidence" and that sort of thing.

Wow, so RE4 is one of your favorite games but you hate RE5? Um.... they are literally the same game...

I wasn't being sarcastic btw for the intellectually challenged, I'm just a grumpy good for nothing.

Disagree with the OP though, RE5 isn't RE but it's still fun for what it is.

 Really, I didn't bother to read that far but anyone who likes RE4 must like RE5 surely. I hated RE4 but then a lot of that was down to my dissapointment where the series went. I knew with RE5 what to expect (nothing special). Was pleasently surprised. But I still don't "like" it in terms of an RE game. But I'm an old fashioned bearded woman.

Well i'm in the minority here and I don't care one bit. My hate for this game is burning, the like of which I haven't felt for a long time. It was worth every intolerant person who called me 'ignorant' (all one people) for having an opinion (albeit a strong one) and everyone who told me I suck as a gamer (yeah, thanks for that) because I found the game bewildering, ugly, terrible to control and rubbish - which makes a game hard to play you know - just to vent my feelings and get it out of my system. 

Resi 4 bests it. Hell, Uncharted destroys it in terms of controls, gunplay, graphics and cover system.

RE5 is such a mixed bag I'm amazed. Some of the game is amazing, great level designs, nice graphics and some fun co-op moments. Yes the controls are dated, and sometimes you feel cheated. This element is worse than RE4 because the zombies are smarter but the controls are just as weak. BUT in the end I think the game is good, though it should have been better and I think most anybody who has payed it knows that. 8/10 some will love it some will hate it.

 Hey, not everyone who disagreed called you ignorant Some of us just pointed out a couple of things you may have missed that addressed your complaints.  ie you complained about the controls, so I pointed out that you can change them to be identical to RE4.
