Unfortunately, the used games market is a real ***** in Japan. Thats why the consoles have such low attach rates, even something 'hardcore' like the 360 only does something around the 4-5 mark.
As we saw with the big multiplats, the 360 is a secondry console to many, with a few people having it as primary. Again, theyve made gains in the market, itll help, but its only gone so far as to repair their tarnished image
I agree, 2million is possible, if MS has mid to long term plans for XB360 lifecycle.
For PS3, 6million very easily, whatever more it gets will depend on doing the right moves at the right moment.
Wii needs to shake itself a little bit in Japan, but overall domination is still quite sure even with the current unexciting sales, the gap in its favour is too wide.
