Unfortunately, the used games market is a real ***** in Japan. Thats why the consoles have such low attach rates, even something 'hardcore' like the 360 only does something around the 4-5 mark.
As we saw with the big multiplats, the 360 is a secondry console to many, with a few people having it as primary. Again, theyve made gains in the market, itll help, but its only gone so far as to repair their tarnished image
