Haha the Bears. I live in Indy and watched fully enjoyed watching them hand the Bears the worst ass whooping in a Super Bowl in years.

 oh yeah i enjoyed that too last SB it was awesome. i even hav the game on dvd. and this preseason when teh bears came in and won  alot of bears fans on the colts forums was like we own you, and we got our revenge. we laughed so hard there. but yeah i used ot live on the southside of indy for many years. it so rocked.

You americans with your lousy american football. The thing is so boooooooring!!! More break-times than actual gameplay. BTW, what idiot dubbed this game football, when foot usage comes down to only running around?

Also, mind that it's only the US that mistakes football with crummy rugby play. It's your....i dunno 150-200 million american football fans against 1 billion+ true football fans. Who has more right to the "football" title :P ?

^^ I don´t know anything about american football but I do know they kick the ball once in a while... ever notice the huge white polles at each side of the game ??? Thats a field goal and they kick the ball trough it. Also I´m not sure rugby is more popular on a worl wide level than american football.

How can you even say that? I mean, c'mon. Rugby has at least gained so much popularity as to have international contests held once in a while. American football is practicaly non-existant beyond US boundries. Rugby on the other hand is played on a national level on 3 different continents. That makes it popular in my book anytime.

More break time than Gameplay?  Just because there is actual strategy and tactics in football doesn't make it boring.  In fact, it makes it the greatest sport in the world.  Tell me what sports have all of these:

Strategy
Athletisism
People getting slammed into the ground
and are completely team based.

There are no stars in football.  The game requires a team that plays perfectly together.  Soccer is pure athletisism.  There are tons of sports like that already (Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, etc.).  American Football is by far the deepest sport in the world.  I watch the World Cup, and I love Strikers Charged, but in general I would rather watch almost any sport above it.  There are like 2 goals a game (in a good game) and they let people tie.  WTF.
