I couldn't give half a rat's buttocks for the Premiership, but I do think Mourinho is very hard to beat as a coach, and Grant has some mighty big shoes to fill - which in the end, I don't think he'll be able to do.

Bottom line: Beautiful footy, footy with results - it's very hard to have both. Mourinho's style was results-oriented, which lacked flash, but what results! Grant won't be able to pick up the baton, and will be fired by Abramovich as a result.

arsenal won again yesterday in the champions league as did all the other british sides who played yesterday... BUT all respect MUST be showered on Rangers... they beat Lyon 3-0 in Lyon's ground... and with Scotland beating France in Euro 08 and being top of their group it seems scottish football is getting better every second...

AC Milan lost in Champion's League against Celtic. Surprising indeed.

Barcelona won (obviously) against Stuttgart, same as Manchester Utd. against Roma (at least not with 7 goals like last time :P)

Yeah, that was unfortunate, we only lost on away goals, and we had some good chances to put one in at Jalisco. But we are still top of the table in MLS and looking good for a Supporter's Shield win, which would put us back in the CONCACAF Champions Cup again next year. I hope we get Chivas again! We went out to them by the odd goal in that competition as well earlier this year (it was preseason for us). Too bad we had to play at RFK first in both series.
