Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft is trying to steal my credit card and money

I'm having the same problem. They told me it takes a couple of weeks to erase the credit card data from their system.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

hmmm yeah and ??? they have your credit card information on file even when it's not on your account anymore... if you did a transaction they have a trace in the accounting dpt anyway.... it stays on your account and what is the problem with that they don't charge you if you don't make a purchase I don't see the issue here.... people should be more concerned by other subscription they do online or even purchase they do in stores... you have more chance of a clerk in a shop using your card info than MS on your XBox live account trust me

MS has finally adressed this issue. While you cant delete card information directly from your console you can do it online. Go to Xbox.com and sign in with your net passport. On the drop down menu at the top right of your screen select manage profile. On the account management tab select manage payment options. It will show you a list of credit cards associated with your account with options to edit your information or to delete your credit card from your profile. Click on delete problem solved.
