At $18m so far - is this good? microsoft paid $50m for the dlc. I'm sure it'll sell much more, and another episode coming during the holidays.

actually, now that you mention it, it does seem that Microsoft overpaid for the episode. MS might not be able to recoup the investment.

Eh... I'm pretty sure it was just a loan... so Take 2 needs to pay back what it doesn't make.

So all microsoft lost is whatever they would of gained by it being put in other investments. Which in this climate...

They also gained a badass AAA(IMFO) game for their library, and also more people buying GTAIV for their console instead of the competitors, so overall, it was obviously a wise investment.
