try using opera browser i have no problems at all from this site

this seems to be an unfortunate incident of timing, as things have hit during a time when ioi is not around to fix it. I'm sending him a message now and I hope he gets it. It's definately not exceptable for any site to have such problems, and I'm sure that once ioi is back he'll be more than a little pissed off that this has happened and wil fix it right away.

In the mean time... I know no one wants to be told to just sit tight... But there aren't that many options. If you're worried, I might suggest a day or two hiatus from coming here, just to give ioi a chance to figure things out once he gets back.

It does seem like Firefoxers and Safari users aren't getting the problem. I'm not trying to pass the blame off on IE by any means, but that is one way to get around some of the sites issues until they're worked out on our end.

IE is worse affected from what I can find. Run any anti-virus/adware/spy now to sort out any issues.

Other browsersare less of a problem but you may still be at risk so run anti spyware etc to be sure.

Its more a Windows/IE7 problem than Safari/Firefox/Opera.

Get rid of IE7 and switch to Firefox or Opera!!

Linux users can of course ignore all this nonsense!

Doesn't bother me. It gives my NOD32 a small amount of exercise. :D

Like everyone else, I've been getting slammed with virus alerts from McAfee. I've made a minor change to my IE settings, and it seems to have stopped the issue for now. Until ioi gets back and can deal with this, here's what I did:

Tools -> Internet Options
Security Tab
Click 'Restricted Sites;
Click 'Sites'
Enter 'http://wanrzcvupf.hk' then click 'Add'
Click 'Ok' and restart IE

i solved the problem for me but that trojan horse is really making the site look bad.. people are cursing vgchartz right now on other websites because of it
