thinking about giving this a rent. the art style looks pretty cool but ive never played any of them before. also how easy is it to platinum/ get all achievements. i'd be renting on ps3 if i give it a try

Easy to plat, 16 hours if you are careful in your first playthrough. It is a fun game to play, and I would say that it is certainly worth a rent

If you are careful, so if you die less than 100 times, but that is easy to achieve if you save, and then load if you die many times. The only missable achievements other than that and the 12 hour speed run, which is really easy, are boss ones, but they are also easy. There are nearly no hard ones. Getting all the light seeds might take a little bit of time, but they are not that hard, and actually quite fun to gain

The game is great, playing it at the moment and the trophies just keep coming and coming! I mean the first 8 are very much just following the beginning of the story! The art style is fantastic and very well done, it can be a bit annoying at times with having to collect so many light seeds but it makes the game a bit lighter paced than if it were constant fights/random encounters like FF games!

eh that was the least enjoyable part of the game for me. I hated getting those damn light seeds! As for OP yah I think you should give it a rent, it's a fun experience.

Well of course the last few are just a pain, but getting most of them is quite fun, though it can get a little repetitive
