At the BEGINNING of this gen EVERYONE thought Sony would win.... especially Sony and its Fan Boys.

As well as every analyst, game publisher and developer.

PC + Wii owners unite. Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen. Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy. Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)

If we forget Wii, a year ago it was a reasonable expection. And if we don't forget Wii... Well, need I say more?

Personally I don't think PS3 winning entirely impossible but it is extremely unlikely to happen nevertheless.

Oh, and what is there to celebrate? It's not like it would be good for me, in any way. Besides, it's just a number for several regions - that's not even one region, but many.

Insane when you look at how much the machine costs. I spent about 550 gbp on launch day for console, VF5, extra pad and a hdmi lead.

I was a bit dissapointed at first but I'm on a lot now, either for blu ray or games. Never spending that much again on a console launch. Bit stupid of me when I had rent and other essentials. lol.
