well i got a Wii because my favorite games are on nintendo systems,i got a xbox because of online gaming (cod2!),then i sold it because of rrod and got a ps3.

now im a happy gamer.

Did the fact that Wii was a Nintendo related product influence my decision to buy it? Of course, as I grew up with the likes of Mario and Zelda and enjoyed the games that the company put out during prior generations.

Sort of I guess. I bought my Wii and Ds, because I love Nintendo games. If in some bizarro world, the Nintendo console did not have Nintendo games, but the Sony or MS console did, then I would migrate along with the games.

I have done so in the past. N64, Gamecube and then came Wii.
