Buy it!! it has some many little things in it that makes it so good!! and the missions are short enough to play on the toilet so your ass won't freeze...

To be honest, most of the reviews are pretty spot-on.
I bought the game the day it came out (despite saying I wasn't going too, haha) and I am left thoroughly impressed! Rockstar really put their all into it, and it really does feel like a mesh of both the old and the new games!
That being said, let it be known, I am a HUGE fan of the new-er games, and not so much of the older ones.
The top down view CAN be distracting, especially when things get in your way.
While people say the game hasn't taken any hits being compressed into the DS, it really has.
The cop AI is pretty stupid as I could beat someone to death right in front of a cop car, and nothing happens.
Also, the people are way too big and the cars are way too small. Artistic choice or not, small cars lead to small roads, which makes it alot harder to cruise at high speeds and have more fun without crashing, losing your speed, or hitting more people than you would like.
All in all, this is a great game and you should BUY it!

Wow, I wasnt expecting this at all. This is the first thing to make me excited about this game.
Picked it up today, haven't tried it yet... still playing CronoTrigger...

~100k in US or Others? That's ok sales, PSP GTAs were at ~50k/150k first week in US, but eventually sold millions. Not to mention that most of DS million-sellers first week is kinda low, around ~100-200k in US (Animal Crossing, Mario Kart DS etc.). I'm optimistic about GTA:CW sales, but in long term.
