No i'm not. There were many threads about the 360's numerous price cuts last year, why not for the PS3.

Here we go again :)

The words price-cut seem to be associated with PS3.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

Yea Im getting sick of hearing about it. The PS3 would benefit from a price to boost sales. But, is it really doing that bad? 100k+ a week, in a recession? I think its doing pretty well.

  Tifa got MOVES!

Its expected. PS3 is like the most expensive console ever released and so right from the launch it's been associated with its price

The PS3 is the most likely console to get the next price cut. (The Wii is long over due, but why would they cut the price?). I hope that Sony doesn't cut the price. They should spend the money budgeted for the price cut to add new features and games for their loyal customers. I guess I am saying, let's keep the riff-raff out.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

Okay then, let's start calling it "cost slash".

I'm not tired of it because they need to
Sony needs their sales to go up like they were with the ps2
I believe a price cut will save them

I'm sorry. $600 for a console is not the way I ever want to see any other console maker go in the future. $400 or $500 for a console 3 years into its lifespan is inexcusable. Seriously, if you can't make a decent console for less that $3-400 at launch, I don't think you belong in the race. The games cost enough as it is without having to take out a loan to afford the system.
