My god. Anyone that can't get on board that MGS4's story is cheesy has probably not played the game. How can you call it anything but when you have that silly shootout where Meryl and Akiba fall in love and get engaged? Give me a break.

i love this dude. he never said his game (GoW) was movie material. he is basically saying mgs and other games, even his, have cheesy stories but the game play makes its what it is, and its all true. strip mgs, gears of war, halo, GoW, etc etc of its game play and all you have is a cheesy ass steven seagal straight to cable esque story.

This is very true right here. The MGS series has ridiculously cheesy dialogue and storylines, with just enough philosophy to make 14 year olds think it's high brow.
