You'd think Microsoft would pay a lot more attention to assembling their consoles after a gargantuan shit storm like the RRoD.

Even if this issue is a minor one, it'll still make MS look like they didn't really learn all that much, not to mention careless compared to their competitors - I haven't exactly heard of Wiis or PS3:s bricking after their respective launches. Even little things like this can sway prospective owners into choosing different systems, and MS should know that by now.

Nope, I got the E73 error (Ethernet Error) after using my Ethernet port ONE TIME!!! Still under warranty, Microsoft is repairing it 100% free, and I took my old Xbox back from my brother for now.



PREDICTIONS:
(Predicted on 5/31/11) END of 2011 Sales - Xbox 360 = 62M;  PS3 = 59M;  Wii = 97M

I don't know if it is a big problem, but I do know someone that had this problem. I think it has to do with how the hdmi port is held to the board. He moved his 360 from room to room, and it eventually came loose. As long as you don't move the 360 too much, you are probably fine.

I haven't even heard about someone getting this on my friendslist and on the friendslists of my friends. Can't tell you the same with the RRoD. THIS is NOT an issue.

Falcon models that develop GPU problems that used to give a RROD get an E74 error instead. I'm sure it is less common, but the issue wasn't fixed when MS released the Falcon model.
