Why aren't we hearing anything about PES 2009. It is coming out in the next couple of days/weeks, and i have yet to see a hands on preview for this game.

Good topic, this is very interesting especially considering the (worthy) hype surrounding '08.

Well Official Nintendo Magazine UK did a lengthy hands-on preview of it in the March issue (the one before the current one), so quite a while back, showing off that it has updated graphics, the Master League and official licensing for the Champions League. It's out in April according to them.

Yeah, IGN said something in a podcast like the publishers didn't want to send them a copy, even though they asked for one. It's really weird, it's not like it's bad game or anything.

I've seen lots of previews of the UK game.

Hmm maybe we just aren't seeing much on this side of the pond due to the popularity of the sport. Still surprising after how well received 2008 was.

Terrible review that seems to have missed out loads of new features. It's as if they haven't actually played last year's version (or even this year's - judging by the comments about the defensive controls)
