I'm really glad Sega is doing this because the Wii definitely needs more mature games (not necessarily M-rated games, but games that aren't for kids) and they should step it up even more when The Conduit is released later this year.

I watch a lot of NBA games streaming online and see MadWorld commericals quite often. It does look like there are some marketing efforts behind it. Hopefully it will do well.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Well they are doing very little advertsing here in the UK at the moment.

They hads loads of ads for Mario and Sonic and Viking Battle for Asgard last year..

...but I have seen no ads for Sonic and the Black knight (and Sonic is probably their biggest asset over here), I saw 2 ads for House of the Dead-Overkill (both on fairly low rating subscription channels) and no Madworld TV ads.

I'm sure MadWorld is selling fantastically. It's consistently out of stock in the Vancouver venues. I only just got myself the last copy at a Toys'R'US yesterday after 3-4 days of looking.

By life end:
