Forums - Sales - Predic LAIR sales in first week!?

I think it'll easily top 100K. 115K actually. But the game will be pretty front loaded and will see sales drop fast.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

PS3 userbase is now about 60% larger than it was when Motorstorm was released. If Motorstorm were released next week it would probably sell around 170k. But I still don't think Lair will do 100k.

 I agree with you

I don't take amazon sales too seriously but the fact that Lair is at #53 right now can't be a good sign.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

I think between 100-125k but then drop hard. Most users that are buying it now already had their mind set on the game from the hype and a few are being swayed on the internet from user opinions on the game which are quite encouraging.

This game won't have legs though.

carlos: How much do you think it cost?

20m+ for sure, likely around 25 million.

Nah, developing tools and technology from ground up for Killzone 2 costed less than 20 million USD so LAIR can not cost more than 10 million.

For example Gear of War costed around 10 million

It's actually well known the overall budget is north of $20 million.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

75-100k debut

One has nothing to do with the other. One team can easily get more out of a smaller budget.
