Poor Sega. Only if you kept going then M$ wouldn't of enter the consoles industry. Damn you Sega for letting an evil corporation enter the market.
But I still love you Sega, now hurry up and localize Yakuza 3 world wide :(

So much fail for such a short post. Sony is the reason MS entered the video game console industry.

yeah they were afread of sony taking over the living room..

Coincidentially the ps3 may not have been focused as much as one such device had it not been for microsoft.

Funny thing about this thread and the complaints is that the original article in GamePro is close to two years old.

PS -- Whoever noted some of the other modern consoles that were not listed -- good point!

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

By the way, no one can add.
It is 6M for Intellivision, if you really read and comprehend the Gamespy article.

http://classicgaming.gamespy.com/View.php?view=ConsoleMuseum.Detail&id=17&game=9

Despite Mattel's awful marketing, the Intellivision sold over 3 million units. ...
In 1991, INTV sold out its stock of Intellivision games and consoles, and the company, along with the Intellivision, faded away. The company went bankrupt later that year, but had managed to sell three million systems during its run—no small accomplishment in the face of Nintendo's market dominance.

3M for Mattel plus 3M for INTV is 6M.

I bet Sony has lost more money on PS3 than Sega lost on Dreamcast

Considering the inflation and rising cost of hardware delopment I wound't be surprised if the PS3 has lost more money than all the Sega failures put together. Of course it still has time to change that.

As a sidenote I got a Pippin a few years back at a garage sale. It is one weird console, with some cool features and some major blunders.

No, the first one was Super Mario Land 3 on the Gameboy (1993 I think). Previously Wario was the boss in Super Mario Land 2, but SML3 was the first game in which he was a playable character.

Well i think there was a Wario game on the Virtual Boy. I might be mistaken though.
