Sands Of Destruction Slides Into Summer

Haven’t heard too much about Sands of Destruction from Sega in the wake of Madworld, but they are localizing it as we revealed way back at Tokyo Game Show. To remind us Sands of Destruction is coming a teaser trailer introducing the cast was posted a few days ago.

Doing further checking it looks like Sands of Destruction has been bumped up from a fall release to sometime in the summer. That’s the word on Sega’s official page so we’ll stick with that and keep our fingers crossed Sands of Destruction will be on our shores sooner than later. The story sounds intriguing albeit morbid. I still remember the analogy Ryoei Mikage told me about the theme. The way ferals round up and rule humans is similar to how humans round and rule animals.

reminds me of an ff... the ff3 intro actually... If sonic team isn't behind this then I will get it it I guess.

oh man...i thought this thread was gonna be about prince of persia 2.

ohhh....this is the game for that anime I watched. World Destruction I think it was called. Shoulda guessed that from the name.

So no ST I'll keep my eyes on this.

Skies of Arcadia was based in a sea of air. This one is base in a sea of sand. Maybe your next game will actually be based in a sea of water, Sega! Or no, you want to keep dodging the obvious. Maybe a sea of fire. How bout a star ocean?.. wait that's been done already.

The music in that Trailer is really good. this game should be great if they fix the balancing issues that were supposedly present in the Japanese version.

So its by the same team as Arc Rise Fantasia, then? Huh.
