As a kid, you don't know much about the world.
One of the things you don't really think about is what is the difference between a great game and a bad game. More so, you would be hard pressed to find a kid that can actually show you a truly terrible game (seeing as how most of them are themed on what kid's like).
Me for instance, loved many many truly crappy games in my life. I loved the simpsons wrestling for one. I loved a text based Dragon Ball Z game in a language I couldn't understand that showed no animations and were just screen shots of the characters faces that shook as they took damage or gave damage, got to love seedy 100-in-1 cartridges from asia for the original gameboy.
Question is, what was the first game that you realised was crap? I'm not talking about movie games you've never played before, which game ended your childhood and made you realise that not all games are created equal?
For me, that was Bubsy 3D. Horrible horrible game, as a 7 year old, even I could see the piece of dung that was that CD. Horrendous 3D graphics, terrible voice acting and horrendous controls. It was the first game I remember not enjoying.
