 Huh? One PS3 fails for every thousand 360's. If that wasn't a fact there might be some merit you your statement. If the gap wasn't so huge it would be a Non-issue.

No idea when you'll be back from your ban but just to clarify something.  Pulling statistic out of thin air and then claiming them as fact doesn't make that true.  The one for every thousand comment you made up and actually have not the slightest clue of current or past failure rates of either console.

Did you invested on Sony stocks or....usually competition is good for the consumers so I don't understand your statment..



 

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

Those numbers are bad for MS, but if you figure in the 360 is going to be on the market longer then the OG XBox and that has MS is starting to pull profits they won't bleed as much at all with the 360. The OG XBox was their "investment" into the console market and they don't plan on bleeding like that again.



It's just that simple.

It just goes to show all the people who keep acting like the PS3 is d00m3d!!! Are absolutely ridiculous.  As are all the fanboys who keep talking about Microsoft's glowing track record as it comes to finances compared to Sony.  Please.  Both companies post tremendous losses early and eventually pull out of it.


It does show me that,  I doubt Sony will drop the PS3 price till the end of the year or once sales drops to a very low level.  Just so they can be in the black for their third year.

That's nice but you did not read the post you quoted. CMoney said that MS never had a penny of debt. The numbers you are quoting the Microsofts Entertainment Division. Even with those losses, the company still posted a profit over all. MS is not in debt. Sony is however. They took out an 800 million dollar loan shortly before the PS3's launch and have since sold their interest in the Cell, along with the it's manufacturing plants to Toshiba.
