I'm not getting into a huge debate on this, done it too many times, that is why I said it. However, I'll say a few things.

You want me to thank someone for WW2? Britain could have held its own against the Nazi war machine, they would have never have been able to invade this country and occupy it successfully.

The Soviets were the ones who did the most against Germany in WW2, so if anything, I should be thanking them, not the Americans.

Do I need to bring up the number of atrocities that the U.S has committed in recent times, or its horrific human rights record?

What has Britain ever done for the world? Oh my.

Ummmm, I think most of the allied would disagree with you there. you came in the last few months and took all the glory. We fought the war for years. Don't get me wrong, it was nice for you to have our backs but it's hard to appreciate Americas when you think you won it single handedly.

Also when you said what have the ever done for the world, well here's what we have done...
