No...they weren't given by Nintendo. That's the point. Had Nintendo announced anything, you can bet all the major news sites would have been all over it like white on rice. So why haven't you heard a peep from anybody in the past week? And note: this "news" was released over a week ago.

Shoot, the link posted is from March 7th, and you'll notice that even at the end of it the website says the standard "this is only a rumor" disclaimer that means "we know this is bullshit, but we've got a deadline to meet and we're too lazy to do any real work."

It IS fake. It was found at 2chan and was never posted by IGN. How can people spread such bad rumors?

I hope they have something at E3 that's all. I'm not expecting anything though.
