ok...so its fall. i come out of my house and my field is destroyed. crops are missing, stumps and rocks all over the place. it looks like there was a storm...but there wasnt any...what gives?

Without spoiling anything, I can tell you that this will continue to happen at random. The only way to stop it is to get your friendship rating with Kross up and then wait a few weeks. You'll not only end this nonsense, you'll learn more of Kross' story. Final note: nothing will happen during the Winter: you'll have to wait until Spring.

:S if it keeps doing this to my grass i dont know if i will have enough feed for the winter.

i also have another issue.  so i went to check the runey thing yesterday.  i havent done anything with them ...but now most places dont have any runeys...is this bad?

VERY bad. Every area that has zero runeys adds an extra day to each STAGE of your crops. For example, if all the zones are completely dead, it will take at least fifteen days to grow a turnip (which usually take four...).

Start chucking runeys into the dead zones: they only need one a day to not trigger that penalty. In the long-term, you may want to look into getting all the areas into prosperity, as each area in prosperity REDUCES each crop's growth stage by one day (you could end up getting pineapples every day, for instance).

i think whichever developer suggested they put runeys in the game should be beaten severely.

btw! i made it to the bottom of the lava caves finally!  i was mostly avoiding people though.

I don't mind the runeys, I just think the system needs a crapload of improvement. I get the impression there wasn't as much playtesting involved as there should have been...

And congrats! Have you tried to take on the boss yet?

Runeys can be helpful as well, when you get an area to have 35 or more of each kind. Then crops time is reduced. Though still not sure whether they have to be 35 by the end of the day or by next morning.

The only problem with them really is that you have to run to the clock tower to check on them every single time (or meet Candy).
I also thing they should have made harvester upgradeable to allow for a bigger area.

havent tried yet...it was same night that the field got destroyed...so after reloading a couple times with no improvements on the field i figured i should ask before playing any more.

I'm... six days in? Eight? I think it's eight.
