Yea, you can actually use the Watering Can to do some nice damage, granted the level 3+ Axe special is friggin cool, slow but cool.

I've done nearly 2.5k damage with it, the only bad thing is it only hit's 3 times and the 3 hits are a bit distanced, unlike the level 2 which hits 2-3 times and the attacks are fast. (doesn't deal as much damage)

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

And leveling up your tools in combat makes them better at farming, right?

Yea using the tools period levels up your ability with farming.

Just one quick note: the axe, hammer, and fishing rod have their own separate category. The watering can, sickle, and hoe all share the same stat ("Farming").

Well I mean they will turn into golden tools that are better at what I will inevitably use them for, I mean.

Nope, I'm afraid not.

Raising your level with something means that it takes less energy to use it, not that the item itself gets any better (although high-level tools also consume less energy...).

In order to get that golden watering can, you'll need to upgrade it via the forge: you can get the best watering despite almost never using it, or you can still have the starting can despite watering a billion squares.

Don't worry though: five minutes in a dungeon will get you all the stuff you need for the second level of tools (akin to silver tools in HM). Getting the most advanced stuff will take a bit longer, but only the final level of tools ask for anything even remotely unreasonable (Little Crystals are tough to find without using The Hammer).

Sounds complicated.

And right up my alley.

God help those fields and those monsters when the time comes.

Here the dungeon maps. I've left them as whole pages 1) because it's a beefy office scanner that doesn't ask for much details and 2) there are page references on the maps themselves so the numbers help.

edit: ordered and arranged by dungeon

Very nice!

Thanks Alketh!
