Afer finishing fallout 3 yesterday, I can't see how they could make expansions. Seems a little tacked on if you ask me, considering the ending and all. I mean, You have to have a game save right before the final confrontation. I wish it were more like fable 2's ending. I mean, they left the gate wide open for more adventuring.
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... Since Fallout 3 is open-world, you can do these two DLC quests, Operation Anchorage, and The Pitt at any time. The 3rd DLC will change the ending and allow you to play beyond it. My guess, alot of people didn't like the ending perhaps?

That was one of my issues with the game. I thought the ending was rather lackluster. I wish we saw the ending bring forth in game changes to the world with ability to continue play.
I suppose I'm being picky though. Overall I wasn't happy with the main storyline.
Anyway, the DLC sounds neat. 
Person 1: Does Valkyria Chronicles have trophies?
Person 2: No.
Person 1: Forget it. I'm not buying it.

If the third DLC changes the ending, I might buy the game. It makes no sense buying something I've already beaten, but a different ending is worth buying, for me anyway. What's the third DLC called anyway? Epilogue?
